Monday at 4pm, the Movie Club will meet via Zoom to discuss the 1995 movie "The American President". This romantic-comedy starring Michael Douglas and Annette Bening is amusing, charming and emotional. It tells the story of how politics, the press and deeply held values collide when widowed President Andrew Shepherd falls in love with beautiful environmental lobbist Sidney Wade--just before he runs for reelection! Moive Club is like a book club. A movie is picked each week to watch at home and then get together on Monday to discuss it. Movie names are posted as soon as they are chosen.
