The Carquinez Village Gardeners had a great first meeting. There is interest in so many things: flower gardening, vegetable gardening, container gardening, visiting other members' gardens, having speakers and field trips, and all manner of things! This newly established group will meet once a month on the first Thursday of the month from 12-1:30pm. Bring your lunch and something to share. Future meeting locations and topics will be decided at the meeting. Cynthia Scoggin will be the organizer and you can call her at 415-652-4601 for more information.

 

The topic of the next meeting will be SOIL. Janice Magner will share all about her annual garden bed preparation, so bring your tips, secrets, and questions. The meeting will start at Janice's house, 203 Dundee Way.
