Fields of Lavender at the Bee Farm, Petaluma

June is the height of the Lavender Season in Northern California so we decided to go to the rolling hills of Sonoma County to see for ourselves.

Established in 2001, Lavender Bee Farm is a family owned and operated lavendar farm specializing in natural,100% pure lavender products and honey. We have booked a tour then will have some honey tasting with some local cheeses to taste and lavender lemonade. There is a little country store on the property where we will be able to shop for lavender-themed products.

Meet us in the 9th Street parking lot at 10:00am to car pool to Petaluma. We'll have a docent led tour followed by a picnic lunch at the tables provided so wear your walking shoes, bag yourself a sandwich or snacks of your choice and join us for some fabulous summertime fun!
