Carquinez Village Scholarship Program

At approximately $1.10 per day ($33 per month), Carquinez Village membership remains a cost effective solution to many aging related resources in California. We recognize, however, that even this cost may be out of reach for some older adults in our community. Guided by our belief that no one should be left behind, we offer membership scholarships as much as our current funding allows.

If you would like to help sponsor an older adult in need, you can donate to our Scholarship Fund.

What are the membership fees used for? 

Membership fees help cover only a portion of our essential operating expenses. These include the costs of maintaining two part-time staff positions, volunteer background checks and training, insurance, financial obligations, printing and postage, website management, office supplies, event costs, and our call center that connects members to support and services. A portion of every membership fee also goes to support our Scholarship Fund to provide free access to members in need. Member dues provide stability, but the Village continues to rely on grants, donations, and community partnerships to sustain and grow our programs.
